is also offered for WORK -RELATED STRESS and individuals on SHORT AND LONG TERM
DISABILITY.
Life-style changes and the exploration of a variety of relaxation and stress reduction techniques
can be invaluable. You will have the opportunity to sample a variety of anxiety reduction and
progressive muscle relaxation tapes.

OUR LOCATION:
We are located In the Markham Stouffville Health Centre, next to the hospital.Our address is 377
Church Street and we are in suite 102. The main intersections are Hwy 7 and 9 th line. Taking 407
is a fast and efficient way to get to our office now that there is an exit at the 9th line. Take 407
east, exit at the 9th line, cross over Hwy 7 and Church Street is the first street to the right.

You can call us at 905-472-5842 and leave a detailed message. On busy days in the office it
may be best to send an E-mail with your enquiry to doctorchristinehansen@rogers.com. This usually generates the quickest reply. Its also an easy way to schedule or re-schedule appointments if necessary.
FEES:
Our fees follow the guidelines set through the Ontario Psychological Association. Most clients have a limited amount of funding thorugh an extended health plan. This often operates on a calendar basis with an amount available up to the end of December and available once more in January of the following year. Once this coverage is utilized fee adjustments may be considered according to individual circumstances.
Assessments for legal concerns are billed at the current recommended fee by our association.
Markham Psychological Services is a Markham-based psychologist managed practice serving
Markham,Scarborough,Richmond Hill and North York that offers effective couples therapy and marriage counselling dealing with relationship conflicts, extramarital affairs, separation and divorce, sexuality and as well offers a wide range of psychological assessment services to assess psychological functioning as related to legal and insurance issues and vocational assessments for students making career decisions and adults seeking career change.
Dr. Hansen is a registered clinical psychologist with 25 years of experience. As a registered psychologist she meets the requirements of most extended health plans.
In consideration of today's hectic family and work schedules, evening appointments are available
two evenings a week. Our last appointment is typically at 6.30 p.m.
Couple Therapy and Marriage Counselling
The process begins with one or more indvidual meetings with each partner in order to focus on the
major concerns and to obtain a sense of what solutions and strategies have been attempted and with what result. To get to know you better I may ask you to complete 1 or more inventories to better understand your strengths and possible development and growth needs as related to your couple concerns.
